July 6 Hey, check out the sitemap that HG house-rocker Xiaonan put together. Yes, this thing is really coming together.

July 5: Happy Independence Day Weekend everyone. HelpGuest continues it's drive toward world domination...actually we'd settle just to have the site up. So far so good, making progress and getting bugs worked out. In lieu of any particularly earth-shattering news, we'll post another cartoon.xkcd

June 25:
Things still going apace, our all-around multi talent Xiaonan has been working on the new site map and has been playing with some color scheme variations and has been blasting on the about pages and the other peripheral content. Nice job, dude. We don't know when you sleep.

Also, we added a new piece of hardware. This phone will ring when Google calls to make us an offer. We will politely refuse, of course.

June 18: This word from HelpGuest President, CEO, Chief Technologist and Grand Pubah Mark Abrams: "Ying has successfully setup the 'tabs' on the new site. She has fully implemented the back and forward functionality of the browser when tabs are selected or sub elements such as links within a tab are selected. This is non-trivial functionality that every user expects from their browser. Great job Ying! Thanks!"

Stevens Brosnihan notes that this was a long-time thorn in our side, so we are all really happy to have it solved. Like Mark said, nice job!

June 14: Ok, I admit it, I just saw this and thought it was funny:

We have just been featured on the "In Brief" block of the Albany Times Union business section. I ask, can a Wired cover be far behind?

From Mark: "We are very proud of Prahalad's recent achievement in which he has brought the developer Virtual Machine to a stable state equivalent to that of the public server.
What this means is that we can begin serious testing of all components - including the biggie remote access. This is huge for us in terms of moving forward and getting this project live by the end of the summer. Thank You Prahalad!"

Woo hoo!!!

Coming up this week on HelpGuest: Jim out to Albany on Wed Night via the official Boston-Albany transport of HelpGuest Technologies: 'da Bus! Earlier in the week, Mark trying to get all the ducks in a row at Harriman. Stevens out to the Apple Worldwide Developer's Conference [tell him what to bring here]. Most of the work this week centers around getting developer suites setup and continuing to build pages.

May 31
As of today we have 10 people working on this thing. Seven people at the Harrman Campus, two of us in Gloucester and Judi. It's funny, when I sign up for stuff or register software, they always ask for company size and I want to put "3 or fewer", but I'm looking at the actual numbers and it's 10 people. Count 'em, 10! Welcome to the two newest folks over at Harriman, Kristina and Salvatore! Enjoy the three ring circus that is HelpGuest, guys! -Jim
